She is a healthy role model for young andold people all over the world, and it is an honour to feel out she isCanadian.Celine Dion was born in Charlemagne, Quebec, on March 30, 1968 and wasthe youngest of 14 children in a large musical family. Celine Dion wasnamed after a song her start out was singing eyepatch pregnant. She wasdiscovered singing in the family owned restaurant, at age 12, but hadbeen singing there ever since age five, along with her other siblings.It was a grim restaurant and club where the children could oftenshowcase their musical talents where her father would play theaccordian and mother the violin. At only five years old, she hadalready began to develop as a singer and entertainer, so it makes senseshe had th e talent and capability to produce her very first recordingat only age twelve with her mother and her brothers. Celine wasdiscovered by Montreal Impresario, Rene Angelil, who later became herhusband, in 1981. Celines mother had found Renes address in an albumof Ginette Reno, a popular french singer. Rene had heard the demo-tapecontaining the songs Cel ine had written (In concomitant Ce NetaitQuun Reve-or in english, It was Only a Dream), and he wasimmediatly taken by the voice of young Celine that he became determinedto make her an internationally know talent. When he first heard hersing live, he cried because it was so beautiful. Rene had so muchfaith in Celine, that he even mortgaged his house to pay theproduction of Celines debut album. Her only obstacle for successbeyond Canada and France was her French lyrics.Record companies, as it turned out, were less enthusiastic of investingin a low-class preteen than Rene Angelil was. The financial supportthey needed to make Celin e a success was not being produced, so theycreated a low budget Christmas album, Celine Chante Noel, (CelineSings Christmas), and other album, Voix du bon Dieu, (The Voice ofGod). Celine released these singles at the young age of 13, yet theyproved to be very successful. Even though these were low budget, peoplegave the albums a chance, and currently Celine had become the teen sensationof Quebec. Her early years also brought a string of awards, allowing
